"Four years ago I had a benign tumor removed from my frontal skull and the surgery caused a bit of nerve damage. As a result, I still had pretty bad, isolated headaches that lasted for a long time and wouldn’t go away! I went back to my doctors numerous time, had rescans of my head to make sure nothing was growing back, and even went to a headache pain and management doctor. All they wanted me to do is either have another surgery to fill the dented area of where the tumor was removed, keep taking advil, or go on permanent pain medication for the nerve damage (apparently cymbalta is FDA approved for nerve damage).
